Christine Juliane "CJ" Opiaza of Castillejos, Zambales was crowned as the Miss Grand Philippines 2024 during the pageant's coronation night at the Newport World Resorts in Pasay on Sunday.
As a frontrunner in the competition, Opiaza triumphed over 19 other delegates, securing multiple special awards and solidifying her standout status.
Among the special awards Opiaza took home were the following:
- Best in Swimsuit
- Miss Photogenic
- Miss Aqua Boracay
- Miss Multimedia
- Miss Mestiza
Opiaza is ready to make her mark as she competes in Miss Grand International 2024 on October 25 in Bangkok, Thailand.
Having already graced the pageant stage, Opiaza participated in Binibing Pilipinas in 2022 and claimed the title of first runner-up in Miss Universe Philippines 2023.
Sophia Bianca Santos from Pampanga was crowned Universal Woman Philippines 2025, while Anna Margaret Mercado of Quirino secured the title of Miss Teen International Philippines 2024.
Furthermore, Jubille Therese Acosta from Manila and Alexandra Mae Rosales claimed the titles of 1st and 2nd runner-up, respectively.
