A collaboration that many did not see coming!
In an Instagram post on Wednesday, Parokya ni Edgar frontman Chito Miranda revealed that he has worked with his uncle Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano for an original song.
"Ilang buwan naming tinutukan ito, and with the help of our friend @jonathanmanalo, we were able to come up with a beautiful song about love," he said.

The PNE frontman said despite he and Gary V having known each other for a long time, this was their first-time music collab.
Chito shared that he met the 58-year-old musician at a family reunion when he was just 9 years old.
Gary V is the husband of Angeli Pangilinan, Chito's aunt.
"I was super starstruck and kept following him around asking stupid questions like "Tito! How'd you come up with this dance step?"✌🏼😅" he recalled.
Chito also shared that Gary V is his and his wife Ninong when they got married.
"Needless to say, @garyvalenciano has always been a part of my life.❤️" he said.
"Thanks Tito @garyvalenciano for giving me the opportunity na gumawa ng kanta kasama mo, at iperform yung song para mga tao that we wrote the song for," Chito said.
He said their upcoming collaboration song would also have a live version.
Gary V commented in the post and expressed his contentment with their collab.
"Really happy we’ve been able to do all this @chitomirandajr.❤️ See you for the next show…or the next duet. God bless you and the family even more!!!!"
