

A Filipino-Chinese male died after jumping off a five-storey building in Mayhaligue, Manila on April 20.
According to a report by RH Boy Gonzales, the Manila Police District (MPD) identified the Filipino-Chinese as Anthony Sy Y Ong, 43 years old, unemployed.
MPD's initial investigation showed that Ong hurt and stabbed his wife before jumping off the rooftop of the building.

Personnel from the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), Philippine National Police (PNP), and Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) tried to rescue the suspect by holding a rescue bag but they were not able to catch him.
Meanwhile, police also reported that Ong's wife, who was immediately brought to a hospital in Manila, is now in stable condition.
