Jrue Holiday finished with 26 points and 11 rebounds while Jaylen Brown added 21 points as they powered Boston to a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven final series.
The Celtics never let go of the lead after Derrick White buried a three-point basket to put them up, 62-57, in the third quarter.
Holiday and White also scored back-to-back baskets from downtown for the NBA Eastern Conference champions to grab their biggest lead in the game, 103-89.
In the final minutes of the game, a three-point play by Luka Doncic allowed the Mavericks to close the gap, 103-98, but Brown made a lay-up to bring the bring the point difference back to seven.
Doncic registered 32 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists while PJ Washington tallied 17 points for Dallas that remains winless in the series.
