Miss Universe Philippines 2022 Celeste Cortesi made a surprise appearance as the Queen of Marte in the episode finale of Darna.
Her short but powerful ending scene was enough for the beauty queen to showcase her potential.
She took on Instagram a message of gratitude for having her play the role of Kevnar.
"Just like Darna.. lumaban at patuloy na lalaban. Taking on the role of Kevnar, The Queen of Marte is definitely a new experience and challenge. Just like any other challenge, I take it as an opportunity to learn and to grow," she wrote.

Cortesi also marked the milestone as her celebration 'to new beginnings and to new adventures.'
"Thank you to everyone at ABS-CBN and Darna for allowing me to be a part of this iconic show that celebrates women empowerment," she added.
During her Miss Universe 2022 stint in January, she channeled the iconic and legendary Filipina superhero Darna as her national costume.
