Actress and television host Maine Mendoza as well as singer and concert director Paolo Valenciano took to social media, respectively, about how their supposed to be 'funky' day at the concert of Filipino America Bruno Mars ended in a nightmarish experience.

Both Maine and Paolo got caught in congested traffic along Philippine Arena in Bulacan and missed the majority of Bruno Mars' performances.

In a Twitter post on Saturday, Maine shared that she and her boyfriend, actor-turned-politician Arjo Atayde, were only able to reach the finale of the concert, with Bruno Mars singing his last two songs.

"Napaka hassle lang talaga ng entry and exit! Has it always been like this? Kumusta ang previous concerts dito? And Tamang Panahon?! Shocks sorry kung ganito din ka-hassle," she shared.

Went to see Bruno Mars in Philippine Arena and made it to the finale. 🥲 Happy pa din kasi umabot sa last two songs. Napaka hassle lang talaga ng entry and exit! Has it always been like this? Kumusta ang previous concerts dito? And Tamang Panahon?! Shocks sorry kung ganito din…

But despite missing 2 hours of the concert, the 28-year-old actress said she was happy to be physically there.

Maine also sent her regards to those who will be attending the next Bruno Mars' concert.

"Pass na muna siguro ako. Arrive early then suffer after the show, ganun. Yikes," she added.

Meanwhile, on Sunday, Paolo posted a compilation 54-second video showing how he and his wife Samantha Godine's endured heavy traffic in North Luzon Expressway (NLEX).

The video also showed how they ran throughout the highway to catch the last song of Bruno Mars.

And when they reached the venue, disappointment was evident in the couple's faces but they still seized the concert experience.

In the comment section of the video post, Paolo said they were only inside the Philippine Arena for 10 minutes.

"I had work, couldn’t get out of it," the 38-year-old musical director replied when asked why did they not go early.

Some netizens, who also had experienced the congested traffic along Philippine Arena, emphatized with Paolo.

"Aww meeeyyynnnn Nung U2 rin na-late din kami and missed a few songs. Tumakbo rin kami through the highway. Kaya sabi ko I'll never watch a concert there again," one netizen commented.

"Oh my. Happened to us too sa last U2 concert. Tapos walkathon papuntang parking," another one said.

Bruno Mars wrapped up his two-day sold-out concert that was held on June 24 and June 25.

It was his fourth solo concert in the Philippines.
