

Cebu Pacific Air announced on Tuesday that it will continue operating flights to and from Dubai despite the tensions happening in the Middle East.
In an advisory, the airline clarified that their route does not fly over conflict-affected areas in the Middle East, allowing them to operate safely.
"Our route does not fly over conflict-affected areas in the Middle East, allowing us to operate safely. We continue to actively monitor the situation and will share further updates as necessary," the airline management said.
In line with this, Cebu Pacific said it is offering flexible options for affected passengers, including free rebooking and conversion to travel fund for those booked on Dubai flights scheduled for June 24, 2025. These options can be availed online up to two hours before the scheduled departure time.
Passengers are encouraged to regularly check the status of their flights at cebupacificair.com/flight-status and to update their contact details via the Manage Booking portal to receive timely flight notifications.
The announcement came after Iran launched ballistic missiles at a U.S. military base in Doha as retaliation for the U.S. bombing of three Iranian nuclear sites.
Later that day, U.S. President Donald Trump announced the two countries agreed for a total and complete ceasefire.
Meanwhile, 31 overseas Filipino worker (OFW) repatriates are expected to arrive in the country tonight from Doha Hamad International Airport, along with two others who missed their connecting flight to Pagadian, according to Migrant Workers Secretary Hans Leo Cacdac.
