Senator Alan Peter Cayetano said on Thursday that he is ready to face Senator Nancy Binay in a Conciliation proceeding, following the ethics complaint filed by Binay.
In a media interview, Cayetano mentioned that he is prepared to face Binay in the ethics panel.
"Yeah, for as long as hindi lang maaapektuhan yung resulta ng reviews," Cayetano said.
"Secondary 'yung relationship namin, secondary 'yung if I can use the word tampuhan," he added.
The senator apologized to the public for the burst of emotions that occurred during the Senate Committee on Accounts review of the new Senate building in Taguig City.
"Hindi naman dapat gano'n ang nangyari," he mentioned.
On July 3, Senator Nancy Binay and Senator Alan Peter Cayetano, Chairperson of Senate Committee on Accounts, had a heated argument regarding the total construction cost of the new senate building.
The debate resulted on Binay's walk out move.
Binay filed an ethics complaint on the Senate Committee on Ethics against Cayetano on July 8.
