Cavite Governor Remulla: Taal volcano situation now clear

Cavite Governor Jonvic Remulla announced that Taal Volcano is now clear following yesterday's eruption, allowing residents and tourists to enjoy their weekend in Tagaytay.

"Clear na po ang Taal Volcano sa ngayon. Bumuga ng konti pero bahagya lang," Remulla said in a Facebook post on early Thursday.

"All is clear para sa weekend in (Tagaytay). Enjoy the food, the sights, and the view," he added.

On Wednesday afternoon, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) recorded a phreatomagmatic eruption that lasted approximately 11 minutes.
