Ong failed to attend the Senate Sub-Committee on Justice hearing on Thursday due to illness, citing a significant drop in her blood sugar and blood pressure levels.
On Thursday, human trafficking charges were filed against Ong and others over their involvement in the believed POGO hub, Lucky South 99. On the same day, Ferdinand Topacio, Ong's lawyer, submitted a petition to the Supreme Court on the Quad-Committee and Senate Committee's possible constitutional rights violations against Ong in their inquiry on POGOs.
