Carlos Yulo has the chance to defend his crown in the men's vault event of the World Gymnastics Championships.

The 22-year old Filipino gymnast garnered a score of 14.849 in the qualifiers to earn a finals spot in the men's vault of the 2022 World Gymnastics Championships in Liverpool, United Kingdom.

Yulo also has a chance to bring home the title anew in the men's floor exercise, which he dominated during the 2019 edition of the tournament held in Stuttgart, Germany.

The two-time World Champion Gymnast registered a score of 15.266 to top the qualifiers and advance to the finals of the said event.
