Carlo Von Bumina-ang showcased his true potential by swiftly defeating Reza Saedi in his first appearance at ONE Friday Fights 27 held at the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand on August 4.

The accomplished SEA Games athlete wasted no time, finishing off the Iranian wrestler in just 52 seconds with his lethal striking.

Bumina-ang delivered a powerful left straight that rocked Saedi, and he capitalized on the opportunity by unleashing a relentless combination of straights, uppercuts, and knees, forcing the referee, Herb Dean, to intervene and stop the fight.

Ecstatic about his victory, Bumina-ang expressed his gratitude to the welcoming crowd, saying, This feels so good. It’s my first time here, and the people here are so nice, I’m so grateful I pulled it off and got the KO win, I’m so happy.”

He added that it took him five years to reach this point, and the feeling was truly incredible.

The rising star from Team Lakay continues to impress, following in the footsteps of his teammate Carlos Alvarez, who also secured an undefeated record in Friday Fights, dominating Saedi's fellow countrymen, Reza Abasi, and Sadegh Ghasemi in previous editions of the weekly Lumpinee show.

With Alvarez and Bumina-ang making waves and the continuous growth of Jhanlo Mark Sangiao, the future of Team Lakay looks promising and secure.
