In her first guest appearance on Bea Alonzo's vlog, Carla Abellana took the lie detector test challenge for the first time, addressing questions that included her past marriage with ex-husband Tom Rodriguez.
Some of the soft and light questions Alonzo threw at Abellana were about red flags, and the latter admitted that she regretted ignoring those actions back then.
Moreover, she also admitted that her parents do not interfere in her relationships, and she later found out that there were exes that her parents never approved of.
When asked if she ever regretted getting married, Abellana said that she had never been asked the question since ending her relationship with Rodriguez in 2022.
Abellana then answered "no," and the lie detector showed the opposite result, leading the Kapuso actress to explain the reason.
"Siyempre gusto ko sabihin no, kasi kahit papaano from kung paano tayo pinalaki, there are no regrets dapat. But then again, kung si Carla tanggalin lahat 'yun, yes, talaga magsisisi ako," she explained.
She also added that she would never get back with Rodriguez, to which her mother exclaimed "Yes!" in agreement off-camera.
As soon as she was asked about working with Rodriguez again, she personally said that she doesn't want that to happen, but if the management said so, she has no other choice but to go through the project, repeating herself that if ever she could resist, she would.
Other responses she gave were about being gaslit, doubting herself, and saying she might not get married again in the near future.
She also has plans to turn her soap-making hobby into a business.
