The Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) announced on Friday, November 17, the cancellation of some flights due to unfavorable weather conditions.
According to the airport authority, as of 9:00, the following flights have been canceled:
CebGo (DG)
- DG 6113/6114 Manila-Naga-Manila
- DG 6117/6118 Manila-Naga-Manila
Sunlight Air (2R)
- 2R 787 Manila-Naga
Weather
Based on PAGASA's 4 a.m. weather bulletin, the shearline and the Northeast monsoon or amihan will bring rains over several parts of the country.
Bicol Region, Northern Samar, Eastern Samar, Caraga, Davao de Oro, Davao Oriental, Palawan, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms caused by the shearline or trough low pressure area (LPA).
Batanes and Cagayan, including the Babuyan Islands, will have cloudy skies with light rains due to the northeast monsoon.
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains also caused by the Northeast monsoon.
Meanwhile, the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to partly cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to a shear line or localized thunderstorms.
