

Eight domestic flights have been canceled due to unfavorable weather brought by Typhoon Goring, the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) announced on Tuesday, August 29.
According to MIAA, canceled flights are as follows:
PAL Express (2P)
- 2P 2905/2906 Manila-Antique-Manila
- 2P 2932/2933 Manila-Basco-Manila
Cebu Pacific (5J)
- 5J 504/505 Manila-Tuguegarao-Manil
CebGo (DG)
- DG 6177/6178 Manila-Masbate-Manila
State weather bureau PAGASA reported that the center of the eye of Typhoon Goring was seen at 220 kilometers east of Aparri, Cagayan, or 220 kilometers north-northeast of Tuguegarao City, Cagayan (18.4°N, 123.7°E) at 3 a.m. today.
The maximum sustained winds of the typhoon are at 155 kilometers per hour near the center and gustiness of up to 190 kilometers per hour while it is moving north-northwestward at 10 kilometers per hour.
The Southwest Monsoon is affecting Central and Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
