The Caloocan City Police identified possible perpetrators of the strafing incident and grenade attack on the office of the Northern Police District - Drug Enforcement Unit (NPD-DEU) last Saturday, May 20.

PCol. Ruben Lacuesta, chief of the Caloocan City Police, said on Monday, May 22, that the initial investigation links the incident to high-value drug personalities in the CAMANAVA area.

Lacuesta sees the incident as a 'retaliation' against the operations and arrests made by the NPD-DEU that paralyzed the illegal drug trade in the area.

Lacuesta assured that the Caloocan City police will continue to gather evidence and build a case against these suspects.

PMGen. Edgar Alan Okubo, director of the National Capital Region Police Office, earlier said that the Caloocan City Police Station has one week to investigate and identify the perpetrators of the said grenade attack.
