The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) has issued an extended Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) restricting flights near Mayon Volcano due to its continued low-level unrest.
In its advisory dated December 11, 2025, CAAP announced that the NOTAM covers the airspace “from the surface up to 11,000 feet” and will be effective “from December 11, 2025, at 9:12 AM until December 12, 2025, at 9:00 AM.”
CAAP reminded airlines and pilots to avoid flying close to Mayon, which remains under Alert Level 1. The agency emphasized that the temporary restriction is meant to ensure the safety of all flight operations near the volcano.
