A two-seater Cessna plane crash-landed in a rice field in Malolos City, Bulacan on Saturday afternoon, February 10, according to the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP).

In a press statement obtained by DZRH News, CAAP reported that Cessna C152 with registry number RP-C2673 crashed in the said area "due to an engine failure southwest of NLEX" at about 2:15 PM.

Onboard the aircraft were the pilot and student pilot who were on a touch-go training flight with a route from Plaridel to Subic and back to Plaridel.

The two reportedly survived the crash as they were able to perform an emergency landing procedure.
