The Bulacan Provincial Government is now under a state of calamity due to flooding caused by Typhoon Egay and the Southwest Monsoon, which destroyed crops and infrastructure.
The flooding affected a total of 228,648 families in 171 barangays.
The Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office assisted in the evacuation of 21,367 people during the floods.
During a Technical Working Group Meeting of the House Committee on Public Works and Highways last Monday, Bulacan Governor Daniel Fernando emphasized the need to address the solution to floods in Bulacan.
