BTS members Jimin and V have dropped possible hints of their military service enlistment plans during the “(V)ICNIC” solo fan meeting at the Kyung Hee University Global Campus's Peace Amphitheater in Yongin, Gyeonggi, on October 14.
In his solo fan meeting, V surprised the fans with his fellow member Jimin’s appearance and conducted interactive activities and surprises, sharing beautiful and precious moments with the fans.
The two have shown off goofy interactions and witty jokes, danced together, and made their fans cheer and laugh for them.
In the latter part of the fan meeting event, V and Jimin gave a hint about their military enlistment plans but have yet to disclose the exact date.
According to V, he wanted to appear again on Running Man together with Jimin before they had to go this year, revealing that he had been planning for such an appearance before enlisting in the military.
Although the two hinted to their fans about military enlistment, BIGHIT MUSIC has yet to release an official announcement on the possible enlistment dates of the two members.
In South Korean law, all men are mandated to enlist in the military and serve a period of 18 months before turning 28.
Three of the BTS members—Jin, J-Hope, and Suga—are now fulfilling their responsibilities to their country.
