BTS members RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook have begun the process of their military enlistment service, according to their label BigHit Music on Wednesday.
"We would like to inform our fans that RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook have initiated the military enlistment process," their label announced in a notice uplosded on the fan community app WeVerse.
"The artists are preparing to fulfill their military service duties," it said.
BigHit did not give an exact date as to when the four remaining BTS members would enter the military, but they assured fans or the ARMYs that they will be informed of further updates regrading the matter.
In South Korean law, all men are mandated to enlist in the military and serve a period of 18 months before turning 28.
Three of the BTS members—Jin, J-Hope, and Suga—are now fulfilling their responsibilities to their country.
