After 11 years of working together, South Korean boy band BTOB has officially departed from its agency, Cube Entertainment, after members mutually agreed not renewing their contract under the management.
In a statement issued by Cube Entertainment on November 6, it said that after their thorough discussion with the members prior to the expiration of the exclusive contract, both sides have made a mutual decision not to renew.
“With this, Cube Entertainment and BTOB members Seo Eunkwang, Lee Minhyuk, Lee Changsub, Lim Hyunsik, Peniel, and Yuk Sungjae are wrapping up our 11-year work relationship,” it said.
Cube Entertainment thanked the members for more than a decade of partnership with them and the achievements that each member has reached throughout the years of making great music, which have been loved by many.
The agency also expressed their heartfelt thanks to the group’s fans, the MELODY, for showing love and support to BTOB for 11 long years.
“The relationship between Cube Entertainment and BTOB has unfortunately come to an end here, but we will sincerely support the new growth and shining future of the BTOB members with endless possibilities,” it ended.
Good luck on your new journey, BTOB!
