The British Embassy in Manila will be hosting a "Coronation Picnic" wherein various activities will be held in celebration of the coronation of King Charles III and Queen Consort Camila this Saturday, May 6.
According to the British Embassy, the event will take place at the Quezon City Memorial Circle (QMC), starting from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm.
The Embassy will hold an exclusive live stream of the two majesties' coronation ceremony at Westminster Abbey in London.
Avid fans of the Royalties can also enjoy live music performances of some local artists and other fun activities such as trivia quizzes about the Royal Family.
British food and drinks can also be found at the "Coronation Picnic".
The entrance to the event is free of charge.
Meanwhile, the local government unit (LGU) of Quezon City on Wednesday issued an advisory directing motorists to take alternative routes and avoid passing by the QMC.
"Asahan po ang pagbigat ng trapiko sa paligid ng QMC. Maraming salamat po sa inyong pang-unawa," it said.
