Marriage is a promise of forever — exchanging vows with the person you'll spend your life with, but not to these newlyweds.
However, Bride AJ Jarollina only relished her wedding in a short period as her husband, James Steven Chong, died the day after.
On social media, she shared her grief by saying, “From marriage certificate to death certificate. From congratulations to condolences.”
The couple tied the knot last December 15, and the day after, December 16, Chong died.
She thanked her late husband for making her the happiest wife, but suddenly a heartbreaking turn of events happened.
“Mahal ko, thank you for making me the happiest bride. Napakasaya natin. Saksi ang Ama at ang lahat.”
Jarollina expressed sadness as she first signed their marriage certificate and then filled up her husband’s death certificate.
She ended her post by appreciating the decade they spent together, “Mahal, salamat sa sampung taon na pagmamahal. Mahal na mahal kita.”
Details about her husband’s cause of death were not mentioned.
