A 13-year-old boy from Lucena, Quezon province has passed away after suffering from blood loss shortly after his circumcision on Saturday, March 26.

In a report, the victim's grandfather said the boy went to the medical mission launched by the Scout Royal Brotherhood Fraternity in Zaballero, Lucena City last March 19, 2022, for circumcision.

However, the bleeding never stopped after the surgery. The boy was brought to the hospital on Monday, March 21 but eventually passed away due to massive blood loss.

The free circumcision event was organized by the Scout Royale Brotherhood. They have yet to release a statement regarding the incident, as of writing.
