Blackwater Bossings acquired the services of Coach Jeff Cariaso
The Bossings confirmed on Monday, April 3, that Cariaso will serve as the head coach of the team in the next season of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA).
"He's tough, he's experienced, and he's ready to take Blackwater Bossing to new heights," Blackwater said in a Facebook post.
"So let's get ready, because Blackwater Bossing are about to go on a wild ride with Coach Cariaso leading the way," the team added.
Cariaso replaces Coach Alex Vanguardia, who reports say that the Blackwater manager wants to remain with the team but in another capacity.
The change came after Bossings ended their campaign in the 2023 PBA Governor's Cup with a 1-10 win-loss record.
Cariaso served as the head coach of the Converge Fiberxers in the maiden conference of the team in the PBA before Coach Aldin Ayo took over the helm.
Cariaso, who won eight PBA championships as a player, also served as head coach of Brgy. Ginebra, and the Alaska Aces before the team retired from the league.
