The trust and approval rating of President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. and Vice President Sara Duterte went up in the independent and non-commissioned survey conducted by RP-Mission and Development Foundation Inc. (RPMD).
Based on the poll results released April 4, 76 percent of the 10,000 respondents polled in the first quarter of the year approved of Marcos' performance, while 79 percent said they trusted the president.
He received high trust and approval ratings in the Balance of Luzon at 86.0 percent and 81.6 percent, respectively. Contrarily, Marcos had low trust and approval ratings in Mindanao with 71.7 percent and 70.6 percent, respectively.
Meanwhile, 77 percent of the respondents gave their approval of Duterte's performance, while 74 percent expressed their trust in the vice president.
The poll showed that Duterte was trusted and approved the most in Mindanao at 88 percent and 82.1 percent, respectively. In contrast, her approval and trust ratings were the lowest in the National Capital Region at 71.7 percent and 70 percent, respectively.
The leaders of the Senate and the House of Representatives also enjoy positive assessments.
The approval of House Speaker Martin Romualdez stood at 70 percent, and his trust rating was 73 percent. Senate President Juan Miguel 'Migz' Zubiri acquired 75 percent trust from the respondents and 72 percent job approval.
According to RPMD, the "Boses ng Bayan" survey was conducted nationwide from March 18 to 23. The 10,000 respondents were randomly selected from the 67.5 million registered voters.
