A brace by Sarina Bolden allowed the Philippines to overcome Chinese Taipei, 4-1, on Thursday, October 26, in the second round of the AFC Women's Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Australia.
After conceding the first goal of the match, a penalty kick allowed Bolden to tie the score at the 54th minute mark.
At least six minutes later, the Philippine national women's football team grabbed the lead through a goal by Katrina Jacqueline Guillou.
Bolden made her second goal in the 83rd minute mark, and Chandler McDaniel also contributed to the scoring spree before time ran out.
The Filipinas will seek to grab back-to-back wins when they face the host team Australia on Sunday, October 29.
