After a decade of bringing creators, businesses, and communities together, Blogapalooza is set to mark its 10th anniversary this June, committed to making a better and unforgettable 2025.
This year, the company will lay out projects that align with their mantra, #BetterBloga. According to its press release, every activity this year is carefully aligned with its vision of striving for a better and more impactful Bloga community.
Although the year had just begun, the Bloga team started the year with intention, emphasizing mindfulness and gratitude.
A Mindful and #BetterBloga Team
To welcome 2025, the Bloga team conducted a Townhall and Team Engagement Activity (TEA) focused on mindfulness. The session included laughter therapy, mindful communication, confidence-building, expressive arts, and a soothing sound bath meditation. It was facilitated by Kimmy from Moment to Moment Stress Management Solutions.
Blogapalooza’s Account Manager Ara Mendiola shared how she enjoyed expressing her appreciation for her team members.
“What I like most is the part where we have to tell each other about what we see and appreciate in them. It's a good opportunity for us to inspire, speak goodness, express gratitude towards our teammates, and make them feel seen. And of course, for bringing the fine dining gastronomical experience at the BCH,” she said.
Activities like this allow the Bloga team to foster a supportive and uplifting work environment, which would be beneficial for this year’s mantra.
BX Talent Welcomes the Internet’s Witty Fil-Chi Auntie
Of course, a #BetterBloga community would not be complete without new additions to Blogapalooza’s talents.
The company officially welcomed Ansis Sy, also known as social media’s favorite Chinese auntie, to BX Talent earlier this year. BX Talent is Blogapalooza’s talent management and professional representation arm.
“With Ansis’s vibrant personality and relatable content, Blogapalooza is eager to help amplify his voice and share his unique charm with a broader audience. Ansis’s addition reflects Blogapalooza’s commitment to supporting talents who inspire and connect with their communities,” Blogapalooza said in its press release.

For those unfamiliar with the fan-favorite Chinese auntie, his persona embodies the stereotypical yapper tita who is (far too) opinionated, but endearing all at the same time. He covers all sorts of contents, from “Tawad Talks” on the art of mastering tawad, to setting the correct (and highest) standards on Chinoy crushes. A wealth of witty takes on life, love, and liniment oils makes the Fil-Chi auntie a lovable character online.
‘Kapag may equality, happy ang economy!’
In support of equality for all, Blogapalooza teamed up with Intersex Philippines—a non-profit, non-governmental organization that’s dedicated to empowering intersex individuals in the country—to host “Elevate Influence: A Party for Equality.”
On the day of the event, Blogapalooza’s influencers were brought together to better their knowledge of the importance of inclusivity and using one’s platform to promote equality and acceptance within the creator and business ecosystem.

Intersex Philippines said in a social media post that their advocacy for equal access to opportunities stretches across all sexual orientations, gender identity and expression, and sex characteristics. According to them, “kapag may equality, happy ang economy!”
Moreover, the organization also conducted a workshop in Bohol as part of the PRIDE for SOGIESC Equality project. Blogapalooza was among several others who participated and was represented by Senior HROD Manager Maridie Macandog.

The workshop tackled the importance of the SOGIESC Equality Bill, wherein discussions on discrimination based on an individual’s SOGIE were dissected. Because of this, Macandog was empowered to create and implement Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) policies.
A Jolly Surprise at the Bloga Creator Hub
Blogapalooza’s January birthday bash theme was overflowing with joy, as they kicked off the celebration with attendees dressed in their best animal prints. January’s theme was “Roaring 2025,” wherein Jollibee paid a little visit to share the joy with the Blogafam.
The joyous occasion did not end with the beloved bee’s special appearance, because Jollibee and Red Ribbon were joined by Fundador to celebrate this year’s monthly birthday events.
