BLACKPINK's Lisa will be making her much-awaited acting debut as she joins the cast of HBO's Emmy-winning series "The White Lotus" Season 3.
An exclusive report from Variety said that Lisa will be credited under her given name, Lalisa Manobal, in the third season of the hit HBO series.
Her casting was also confirmed by her recently launched agency, LLOUD Co. in a post: "Lalisa Manobal is set to star in Season 3 of the HBO Original "The White Lotus"
Her role in the series is yet to be unveiled as "The White Lotus" Season 3 is set to begin production in and around Koh Samui, Phuket, and Bangkok, Thailand, in February.
Exact plot details are being kept under wraps aside from the fact it will follow a new group of guests at a White Lotus resort property.
Aside from Lisa, the actors announced to be part of The White Lotus season 3 include Leslie Bibb, Carrie Coon, Francesca Corney, Nicholas Duvernay, Arnas Fedaravičius, Christian Friedel, Scott Glenn, Walton Goggins, Dom Hetrakul, Sarah Catherine Hook, Jason Isaacs, Julian Kostov, Michelle Monaghan, Sam Nivola, Morgana O’Reilly, Lek Patravadi, Shalini Peiris, Parker Posey, Natasha Rothwell, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Tayme Thapthimthong and Aimee Lou Wood.
Lisa's role in “The White Lotus” will mark her acting debut. She also becomes the second BLACKPINK member to appear in an HBO series after Jennie, who was credited as Jennie Ruby Jane, made her acting debut in the drama "The Idol" in June 2023.
