The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) seized illicit vape products in Tomas Morato, Quezon City, on Tuesday, November 19.

According to BIR Commissioner Romeo "Jun" Lumagui, the shop named "The Vape Project" had a secret menu and storage for illegal vapes, while the vape products displayed in the store were legal.

These illicit vape products were found to have evaded excise tax as they did not undergo government inspection.

Lumagui warned the public against supporting illegal vape products, emphasizing the potential harm these could pose to their health.

Because of this, Lumagui called out the store manager and staff for their violations of internal revenue laws.
