Around 15 million pesos worth of drugs were seized from a big-time drug pusher on Saturday, October 21, in Barangay Ilayang Iyam in Lucena City, Quezon.
In a report from Noche Cacas in DZRH News, Police Regional Office 4-A chief Police Brig. Gen. Paul Kenneth Lucas, citing Quezon police director Police Col. Ledon Monte, identified the suspect as Alias Eric, 40, a tricycle driver residing in Jael Subdivision, Barangay Ilayang Iyam.
The high-value individual was arrested after having a transaction with a police poseur-buyer on Zoleta St., Jael Subdivision.
Ten plastic sachets, six sealed transparent plastic bags, and five knot-tied transparent plastic bags containing suspected shabu with an estimated weight of 750 grams and valued at P15.3 million were confiscated from the suspect.
Meanwhile, Lucas also called on the Lucena City Police to expand their investigation and gather information in order to determine the source of a significant amount of drugs.
The suspect is now under the custody of Lucena Police and is facing drug-related charges.
