Bazinga! After four years since it wrapped up, the popular sitcom TV series “The Big Bang Theory” will have a second spin-off series!

According to reports, the spin-off was announced by Warner Bros. Discovery during a press conference on April 12, the day it also confirmed J.K. Rowling's “Harry Potter” television series and another prequel of “Game of Thrones”.

The original show creator Chuck Lorre will also take part in the newest series.

The plot and casts of the spin-off are presently under work, reports also said.

“The Big Bang Theory” follows four nerdy scientists Sheldon Cooper, Leonard Hofstadter, Raj Koothrappali, and Howard Wolowitz whose social lives are changed when a friendly aspiring actress Penny moves in next door and becomes part of their group.

Years later, the group met neuroscientist Amy and waitress turned microbiologist Bernadette.

The original show is headlined by a star-studded cast, Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki, Kaley Cuoco, Simon Helberg, Kunal Nayyar, Melissa Rauch, and Mayim Bialik.

The TV series was aired for 12 years, from 2007 to 2019, the longest-running sitcom in America.

Amid the success, a spin-off series focused on the early life of Sheldon Cooper, was aired on CBS channel in 2017.

Currently, this first spin-off has six seasons. According to reports, it will have a 7th season to be broadcasted this 2023 until 2024.
