The rivalry between Barangay Ginebra and Bay Area Dragons is set to add another chapter as the 2023-2024 East Asia Super League gets underway.

The Gin Kings and Dragons have been placed in the same bracket in Group B of the tournament.

The last time these two teams faced each other was in the Commissioner's Cup conference of the 2022-2023 PBA season.

It was a fierce 7-game series in the PBA finals, with both teams displaying their exceptional skills. In that series, the Gin Kings emerged victorious, clinching the championship title.
