A security guard has been commended for his bravery after saving a 3-year old boy from a vehicular fire last March 4, 2021.

In a Facebook post, the Bureau of Fire Protection XI acknowledged the dedication and act of bravery of SG Kenneth Brian S Cangke for immediately rescuing and securing the child out of the burning car carrying him to a safe area.

In CCTV footage, Cangke was seen taking a fire extinguisher and aimed its nozzle at the burning part of the car.

“This also calls for everyone to always think of fire safety since fire can occur anytime and anywhere,” their statement read.
