Chan thanked his staff in the Philippines as well as those in San Francisco, Guam, and even mainland China.

He also expressed his appreciation to his staff, who are deaf and dumb due to infirmities.

Bench was founded in 1987 by Ben Chan, who began by selling men's T-shirts.

It has evolved into a lifestyle brand with outlets in well-known shopping centers.

The well-known clothing brand signed not only Filipino celebrities but also Korean stars such as Wi Ha-jun, Kim Seon Ho, Ji Chang Wook, Lee Min Ho, Park Seo Joon, K-pop girl duo ITZY, and even boy group Enhypen as endorsers.

Meanwhile, netizens and celebrities lauded Chan's kindness to his staff, including Kim Atienza, Amy Perez-Castillo, and Christine Bersola Babao.

David Licauco, well known as "Pambansang Ginoo" from his role in "Maria Clara at Ibarra," joked that he wanted to join them.
