President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Maros Jr. has expressed his grief for the Filipinos who have been killed in the terrorist attack in Israel.

"Last night, I made two of the most difficult phone calls I’ve had to make as President. The nation is one in grieving with the families of the Filipinos who were killed in the attacks on Israel," said the President in his caption in an Instagram post.

Meanwhile, Marcos vowed to give the utmost support to the bereaved families of the victims.

"We will provide the utmost support to the families they were taken from," the President said.

On Wednesday, Marcos released a statement condemning the killings of terrorist group Hamas in Israel.

“My heart is heavy upon hearing confirmation of the deaths of two Filipinos in Israel. The Philippines condemns these killings and stands firmly against the ongoing terror and violence,” he said in an official statement released by the Presidential Communications Office (PCO).
