Bank documents of Former Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque were found in the recently-raided Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator (POGO) in Porac, Pampanga, the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC) revealed on Wednesday, July 10.
Along with the bank certificates and deposit pay slips of Roque, certification for visa purposes of Alberto Rodulfo “AR” De La Serna, his former executive assistant, was also found in Lucky South 99.
During a Senate committee heaing, PAGCOR Chairman Alejandro Tengco revealed that Harry Roque, a former cabinet member of the previous Administration, lobbied for the raided POGO in Pampanga.
The Chairman also presented a document that includes the name of Harry Roque as the legal counsel of the said POGO.
Winston Casio, the spokesperson of PAOCC, shared to media the copies of the bank documents.
Casio mentioned that Roque stands as the legal counsel of Lucky South 99 affirming the Certified True Copy document that PAGCOR presented.
PAOCC now push for a meeting with the Department of Justice (DOJ) and Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) to further investigate.
