The wife of a judge in Bangued, Abra, was ambushed on Thursday afternoon.
In a report by Romy Gonzales, the victim was identified as Atty. Maria Saniata Liliwa "Ling" Gonzales-Alzate, the housewife of Judge Raphiel Alzate.
The assailant approached the victim at around 5:00 p.m. and shot her twice, followed by a motorcycle, with the two suspects firing the vehicle multiple times.
Atty. Alzalte was rushed to the hospital but was declared dead on arrival due to the number of bullet wounds to her body.
As of this writing, the Bangued Police is currently investigating the incident.
