The controversial mayor of Bamban, Tarlac should be investigated, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. stressed on Thursday, May 16.
In an ambush interview with reporters, Marcos said he is wondering where Guo's name came from as he knows all of the mayors in Tarlac.
"Kilala ko lahat ng mga taga Tarlac na pulitiko eh, walang may kilala sa kanya kaya ngatataka kami kung saan nanggaling ito, bakit ganito ito, kailangan naming malaman kaya dapat imbestigahan," said Marcos.

According to the Chief Executive, the Bureau of Immigration, including other concerned agencies must investigate Guo's nationality.
The Senate had a first hearing concerning Guo's nationality and her involvement in the raided Philippine Offshore Gaming Operations (POGO) in her town.
It was learned that the POGO firm, Zun Yuan’s billing statement from Tarlac II Electric Cooperative (Tarel Co.) Inc. and the seized vehicle during the raid were registered under Guo's name.
Guo denied the allegations and claimed she had no connection with the POGO's operation.
Senator Risa Hontiveros grilled Guo on her nationality asking why her birth certificate was only registered when she was already 17 years old. She also asked for any records from Guo's homeschooling. Guo said she could not recall.
Commission on elections earlier warned Guo that she could face perjury charges if proven that she misdeclared herself as a Filipino citizen.
