The pride of Baguio City, Marikit Manaois, was crowned as the Aliwan Fiesta Digital Queen 2022 during the virtual Awarding and Coronation Night on Saturday, November 5.
The 25-year-old stunner bested 11 candidates from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao throughout the four competition legs — the Pride of Place, Talents and Skills Competition, Queens for a Cause, Evening Gown Competition and Q&A.
Aside from the crown and sash, Marikit took home PHP 50,000, the same amount will also be given to her chosen charity, Helping Hands.
She will also be receiving an all-expense paid vacation to Boracay courtesy of Feliz Hotel Boracay. She will enjoy a 4 days 3 nights stay for two at Feliz Hotel Boracay with breakfasts, including roundtrip airfare and pocket money.
The newly-crowned digital queen also received special awards such as the Palmolive Naturals #GandangNatural and Miss Charm. She will be receiving PHP 10,000 each, respectively.
Nueva Ecija's Maica Cabling Martinez was named first runner up during the coronation night. She received PHP 25,000, the same amount will also be given to her chosen charity which is the Magsasaka Bida Sa Cabanatuan (MBC).
The 28-year-old beauty also bagged several special awards such as Miss White Rose Papaya, Best in Talent, and the Pride of Place Citation in which she received PHP 10,000 each.
Maica also won the Best Digital Video Production and the Netizens' Choice, taking home a total of PHP 30,000 for both awards.
Sophia Noreen Guillermo of Ilocos Norte won as second runner up and received PHP 15,000, where same amount will be given to her chosen charity, the Provincial Tourism of Ilocos Norte.
Meanwhile, Cebu City's Jackelaine Adarayan Fleming won the Best in Evening Gown presented by Tanduay and received PHP 10,000.
The rest of the candidates received PHP 10,000 each as consolation prizes.
Aliwan Fiesta Digital Queen is presented with Unique Toothpaste, White Rose Papaya Whitening Soap, Charm Fabric Conditioner, DITO Telecommunity, Palmolive Naturals Ultra, Birch Tree, and Tanduay.
