Baguio's very own Krishnah Marie Gravidez has been crowned as Miss Charm Philippines 2023.
Their awarding ceremony was held at Okada Manila, in the early morning of Sunday, May 14, just right after the Miss Universe Philippines 2023 coronation night concluded at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Krishnah Marie Gravidez is no stranger to struggles, as she has faced many uncertainties at a very young age.
During the final round of the pageant, the Top 5 candidates were given the same question by the pageant host, Xian Lim: "Recently, the Department of Tourism has adopted a new branding campaign, 'We give the world our best.' For you, what is the best that we can offer to the rest of the world? Why do you consider it so?"
Krishnah's heartfelt answer, as well as her undeniable beauty and grace, made her stand out among the other contestants and ultimately led her to victory:
"Having to struggle at a very early age, I have uncertainties. But I've received kindness a lot of times. So now, aside from it's free, I give kindness to everyone. Because this kindness can go a long way, can motivate someone, can give radiance to rainy days. Because this kindness also made me transform myself from a woman who have nothing to a woman who has the universe on her doorstep."
Krishnah Marie Gravidez wasn't the only standout contestant of the pageant, as both Miss Bohol Pauline Amelinckx and Miss Zambales Cristine Opiaza made it to the Top 5, with Angelique Manto of Pampanga being named as the second runner-up.
Michelle Marquez Dee of Makati was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2023 and will represent the Philippines at the Miss Universe 2023 pageant in El Salvador.
