

The Philippine National Men's Football team emerged victorious against Nepal, 1-0, in a friendly match on Thursday, June 15, at the Rizal Memorial Sports Stadium
Jarvey Gayoso scored the lone goal of the match in the 49th minute mark for the Philippine Azkals to snag their first victory since Coach Hans Michael Weiss returned to take the helm of the team.
Goalkeeper Patrick Deyto also contributed to the victory of the Philippines as he managed to stop the chances of Nepal to tie tha game.
Fans of Azkals who watched the game also received a surprise after Stephan Schrock, who announced his retirement for the international stage last January, entered the field in the 71st minute mark.
The Philippines will have another friendly match on Monday, June 19, against Chinese Taipei at the Rizal Memorial Sports Stadium.
