The camp of actress-comedienne Awra Briguela submitted a counter-affidavit against her accuser before the Makati Prosecutor’s Office on Wednesday regarding the criminal complaints she faced after the controversial fistfight incident outside a bar in Poblacion Poblacion district last June.

According to Briguela’s lawyer, their camp are filing a counter-affidavit as an answer to the three cases filed against her client, stating that they are not yet making any further comments as of this moment.

Previously, Mark Christian Ravana filed a complaint against the comedienne for light threats, grave coercion, and violation of the Safe Spaces Act, or the "Bawal Bastos" law, on top of the charges Briguela faced, such as physical injuries, alarm and scandal, disobedience to a person in authority, and direct assault.

In response, the "Ang Probinsyano" actress filed a complaint against Ravana for violation of Section 1 of the anti-wiretapping law, a slight physical injury, and a violation of the Safe Spaces Act.

It was June 29 when Briguela was arrested and detained at a police station in Makati after getting involved in a fight with another customer outside the Bolthole Bar in Poblacion.

Ravana said that Briguela asked him to take off his pants and got upset when he refused to do so and left the bar, where the bouncers were trying to stop the actress from going after them.

Briguela was then released on July 1 after posting a bail of P6,000.
