Despite the intimidating armada of Chinese vessels, Atin Ito has successfully installed markers 14 nautical miles off Palauig Point in Zambales within the country's 200-nautical-mile EEZ.
"Atin Ito Coalition is now in EEZ and has successfully deployed symbolic buoys and markers bearing the message: WPS, Atin Ito!" Atin Ito Coalition said in a post.
The BRP Bagacay is still present on the mission to escort the civilian convoy on its second day of mission.
Meanwhile, the civilian convoy has so far spotted 3 Chinese Coast Guard vessels in the WPS' Scarborough Shoal or Bajo de Masinloc with ship numbers 4109, 4108, and 4203.
