After their successful civilian mission in the West Philippine Sea, the advocate group Atin Ito Coalition finally arrived at Subic Fish Port in Zambales on Thursday, May 17.

According to RH Edniel Parrosa's report, who joined the civilian mission together with other media personnel, Atin Ito arrived at 2 a.m.

The Atin Ito advance team managed to reach its destination, Bajo de Masinloc, and deliver supplies despite being shadowed by a China People’s Liberation Army Navy warship with bow number 175.

According to Akbayan President and Atin Ito Co-Convenor Rafaela David, the 10-member advance team that reached Panatag Shoal comprised members from the Akbayan Party, Pambansang Katipunan ng mga Samahan sa Kanayunan, and the Philippine Rural Reconstruction Movement.

The team accomplished its three main objectives, such as a small fishing boat regatta and the release of the symbolic bouy with the “WPS Atin Ito! ”markings, and fuel and food pack distribution to small fisherfolk in the vicinity of the Bajo de Masinloc.

"Nakapagbigay sila nga total of 1000 liters of fuel at 100 food packs doon sa Bajo de Masinloc. Kaya ang masasabi po natin mission accomplised, mission success tayo!" said David.
