Ashfall was reported in several areas of Albay following increased activity at Mayon Volcano, based on gathered monitoring information.

Ashfall was observed in Mi-isi in Daraga, as well as in San Roque and Manatag, in Legazpi City, with fine volcanic ash settling on homes, roads, and vegetation.

Residents in affected areas were advised to stay indoors and wear face masks and long-sleeved clothing to prevent skin irritation and respiratory problems. Authorities also reminded the public to cover water sources and limit outdoor exposure.

Mayon Volcano remains under Alert Level 3, indicating heightened unrest and the possibility of hazardous eruptions. Local government units and disaster response teams continue to closely monitor the situation and prepare for any further developments.
