Former president and Pampanga 2nd District Rep. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo on Thursday, Nov. 2, congratulated House Speaker Martin Romualdez for garnering a high trust rating in the OCTA Research poll.
She made the congratulatory remark in a brief statement posted on her official Facebook page.
“I would like to congratulate House Speaker and Lakas President Martin Romualdze on the recent OCTA Research report reflecting a +6% increase in Trust Rating to 61%,” Arroyo said.
Based on OCTA’s Tugon ng Masa (TNM) poll, Filipino’s trust in Romualdez went up to 61 percent in October 2023 from 55 percent recorded in July 2023.
His performance rating also rose by six percent, from 55 percent in July 2023 to 60 percent in October 2023.
The said poll was conducted from Sept. 30 to Oct. 4, 2023.
Romualdez earlier expressed his gratitude for Filipino’s trust on his leadership.
“Ang mataas na satisfaction at trust rating na ibinigay ninyo sa amin ay higit pa sa simpleng numero. Ito ay salamin ng pinagsamang sipag at pagtutulungan ng lahat ng miyembro ng House of Representatives sa 19th Congress,” he said in a statement posted on his official Facebook page.
“Bawat desisyon at panukalang batas na aming isinusulong ay bunga ng aming magkakasamang pagsisikap na paglingkuran ang ating mga kababayan,” Romualdez added.
