Expelled Negros Oriental 3rd District Rep. Arnie Teves aired his support for Davao City Mayor Baste Duterte's resignation call for President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. who he believes is a drug user.

"I support the stand of the Dutertes. Tama ang sinabi ni Mayor Baste na tamad ka [Marcos], wala kang malasakit, wala kang plano sa ating bayan, mag-resign ka na lang," he said in a video statement posted on his official Facebook page.

Teves, who is designated "terrorist" by the Anti-Terrorism Council, affirmed the drug accusation of former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, often called PRRD, against Marcos.

Alam ko ang katotohanan," he said.

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency has falsified Duterte's allegation, saying that Marcos was never part of its drug watch list.

The former Negros solon challenged all present and current congressmen to attest to the younger and older Duterte's statements.

"I challenge you, lalo na yung mga kumampi at sumipsip kay PRRD. Magsalita kayo, tingnan natin," he added.

Teves then raised the question of who will the Filipinos report to once a sitting president is a "drug addict".

Sobrang kawawa ang mamayang Pilipino," he lamented.

The former Negros solon reminded the police and army forces of their duty to protect the country and asked them to arrest government officials who are drug users and pushers.

He then called on the public to fully support Vice President Sara Duterte and her family.

Teves' video statement marks his first appearance this year.

He has a standing arrest warrant for murder, frustrated murder, and attempted murder charges in relation to the brutal killing of former Negros Oriental governor Roel Degamo and nine others in May 2023.

The former lawmaker has yet to return to the country since February 2023.
