The De Las Salle University Green Archers lives to fight another day in the UAAP Season 86 Men's Basketball Tournament.

The Archers forced the finals series to a do-or-die Game Three after defeating the University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons, 82-60, on Sunday, December 3, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City.

Francis Escandor scored 14 points and Joshua David added 12 points for DLSU to make a succesful comeback from a 97-67 loss in Game One.

At the end of the first of the First Quarter, the Maroons still had a three-point lead, 27-24.

However, the Archers turned things around in the second period after back-to-back three point baskets by Escandor put them up, 34-28.

DLSU never felt threatened after entering halftime with a 16-point advantage, 65-49.

Both CJ Cansino and Malick Diouf scored 11 points while Harold Alarcon added 10 points to pace the Maroons in Game Two.

The Archers and the Maroons will meet anew in Game Three on Wednesday, December 6, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
